Pennsylvania constables are constitutional officers — their existence and authority are rooted in the Pennsylvania Constitution itself, making the office one of the oldest forms of law enforcement in the Commonwealth.
Unlike municipal police officers, constables serve in a civil capacity. We do not respond to criminal emergencies or patrol communities. Our role is focused on the service of legal process and the execution of civil court orders — ensuring that the decisions of the courts are carried out lawfully and efficiently.
Attorneys and law firms working in Cumberland County can rely on our office for prompt, documented, and legally compliant process service. We provide affidavits of service and maintain thorough records of all actions taken.

Every action taken by this office is guided by the law and a commitment to impartial, professional conduct.
As a sworn officer of the court, we are fully accountable to the judiciary, the public, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
We serve the residents of South Middleton Township with respect, transparency, and a genuine commitment to their well-being.
Deep familiarity with South Middleton Township and Cumberland County allows us to serve efficiently and effectively.
